Episode 11: Food StrongOn this Episode host Jeremy Hempy and Kim McDonald have an insightful conversation with Ursula from Food Strong Cleveland, an organization founded in 2018 by Sara Continenza. Food Strong began with school gardens and a wellness program, growing from 2 to 14 schools and building a Learning Garden at Coit Road Farmers Market, complete with rain gardens and solar spaces. We also launched initiatives like vacant lot restorations, a Mobile Farm Stand, and community classes, all aimed at increasing access to fresh food and promoting health.
